Report – Man United, Chelsea to battle for Jadon Sancho
Manchester United and Chelsea will reportedly go head to head for Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho in this summer’s transfer window.
The England international was strongly linked with a move to the Red Devils last year, but the Mancunian giants were not thought to be prepared to meet Dortmund’s £108m asking price.
A recent report claimed that the 20-year-old attacker could be available this summer for a fee somewhere in the region of £88m, with BVB being forced to drop their asking price due to the financial climate.
According to SPORT1 via The Sun, the German giants are expecting Sancho to leave Westfalenstadion ahead of the 2021-22 campaign, and Premier League duo Man United and Chelsea are firmly in the race for his signature.
The youngster has scored eight goals and registered 13 assists in 25 appearances in all competitions this term.
Sancho is contracted to Signal Iduna Park until June 2023.
