Mikkel Damsgaard on Real Madrid radar?
The in-demand Sampdoria attacker Mikkel Damsgaard is reportedly on the radar of Real Madrid.
The Denmark international is understandably in high demand following his successful Euro 2020 tournament, contributing two goals and one assists – including ab impressive free kick against the 1st runners up England.
Tottenham Hotspur have long been linked with a move for the 21-year-old Sampdoria man, but Marca claims Los Blancos have now joined the race as well.
The report goes on to claim that Arsenal and Juventus FC are also ready to rival Madrid for Damsgaard’s services, but a lack of European football could restrict the Gunners’ chances.
The Dane also enjoyed a successful debut season in Serie A following his 2020 move to Sampdoria, contributing two goals and four assists in 35 games.
