Leicester City eye January move for Domenico Berardi
Leicester City have reportedly placed emphasis on signing Sassuolo winger Domenico Berardi in the January transfer window.
The Italy international was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League over the summer, with the east Midlands touted as a likely destination, but the move collapsed in the end.
The Serie A outfit may have dropped their original asking price of €40m by €5m, after the initial interest in the 27-year-old forward over the summer, with the Foxes set to swoop.
According to Leicestershire Live, Leicester City have made in-depth contact with the attacker and are now deemed favourites to secure his signature at the midway point of the campaign.
Berardi scored 86 goals and registered 56 assists in 228 Serie A appearances for I Neroverdi.
