Manchester City interested in signing Paul Pogba

Manchester City have reportedly placed emphasis on signing Manchester United’s Paul Pogba as a free agent next summer.

The Frenchman is now free to sign pre-contract agreements with foreign clubs as his deal at Old Trafford is set to expire in June.

However, Fichajes reports City are among a number of high-profile suitors who are closely monitoring the 28-year-old midfielder’s situation.

The report goes on to claim that City boss Pep Guardiola admires Pogba’s physical and technical attributes and will make an approach for the 2018 World Cup winner ahead of the new campaign.

Juventus, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are also believed to be interested in Pogba’s signature.

Pogba chalked up 39 goals and 50 assists in 224 appearances for Manchester United across all competitions, including nine goal in 18 games this season.
