Chelsea, Man United in race for Kyle Walker-Peters
Chelsea and Manchester United could reportedly go head-to-head for the signature of Southampton defender Kyle Walker-Peters.
The future of the England international at St Mary’s is uncertain as he is not agreeing to renew his contract with the Saints.
The 25-year-old is under contract with Southampton until June 2025.
According to talkSPORT, Chelsea and Man United are said to be weighing their options of making a move for the player either this month or at the end of the season.
The report suggests that Southampton are aware that they will have to put up a strong fight to retain the services of full-back, who has made 99 appearances for the club and has contributed 3 goals and 7 assists.
The Red Devils were rumoured to be in the market for a new full-back, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka expected to exit Old Trafford at the end of the transfer window.
Chelsea, on the other hand, are said to be searching for a replacement for Reece James, who is currently out of action due to a knee injury.
