Arsenal interested in Moises Caicedo
Arsenal are reportedly keeping an eye on Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo with a view to making a move in the summer.
According to a report from Football Transfers, the Gunners intends to make a move for the 21-year-old midfielder at the end of the season.
The Ecuador international was a top target for the Gunners in January and may be enticed once again if they make an offer in the summer. It remains to be seen whether Brighton & Hove Albion will be willing to sell him at a reasonable price at the end of the season.
Caicedo’s price is likely to increase following the signing of a long-term contract with the club. Currently, the youngster is on a £60,000-a-week deal at Brighton.
However, Arsenal could offer him a more lucrative deal, in addition to providing the opportunity to showcase his talents in a prestigious competition such as the Champions League.
Undoubtedly, the Ecuadorian is one of the most talented young players in the Premier League, and he has a bright future ahead of him. He has the potential to become a world-class midfielder, and a move to a big club could help accelerate his development.
