Liverpool are mulling over a summer move for Real Betis centre-back Aissa Mandi.
The newly crowned Premier League champions are expected to be in the market for a new centre-half as Dejan Lovren is likely to leave the Merseyside outfit this summer in search of pastures new.
According to Estadio Deportivo, Real Betis’s Aissa Mandi has emerged as a transfer target for the Reds, with the 28-year-old defender expected to leave the Spanish club in the upcoming transfer window.
Mandi’ contract in Seville is due to expire in June 2021, and the report suggests that it would be a ‘miracle’ if the Algeria international signed a new deal.
The centre-back has spent the last four years with Los Verdiblancos, clocking up 141 appearances in all competitions.
