Chelsea eye Inter Milan’s Nicolo Barella?
Chelsea have reportedly outlined their intentions to move for Inter Milan midfielder Nicolo Barella, despite the Serie A outfit being reluctant to let him leave San Siro.
The 24-year-old attacker joined Nerazzurri from Cagliari in 2019 and has since gone on to make 80 appearances, contributing seven goals and 18 assists for the club.
The Italy international has been the subject of interest for the European heavyweights, with Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and now Chelsea are keeping an eye on his situation.
Calcio Mercato reports that Inter are keen on retaining the Italian and are expected to offer him a new deal with a significant pay rise.
Barella still has three years remaining on his contract and has provided 10 assists for Antonio Conte’s side this season.
