Manchester United to beat Chelsea to Andrea Belotti’ signature?

Manchester United have reportedly outlined their intentions to move for Torino captain Andrea Belotti in their search for a new striker, according to Tuttosport via Manchester Evening News.

Man United are ready to rival Chelsea for Belotti’s signature, and the Italian outfit are prepared to accept a fee around the €25m mark despite his €100m release clause.

The 27-year-old could be available for a cut-price during the summer.

Belotti’s current deal with Toro expires in 2022, and the report goes on to claim that other Italian clubs Napoli, Roma and Fiorentina are all keeping a close eye on the player’s situation.

The Italy international has scored 12 goals in 27 Serie A appearances this season.
