Barcelona tracking Sampdoria’s Mikkel Damsgaard
Barcelona are reportedly keeping a close eye on the development of Sampdoria youngster Mikkel Damsgaard.
The Danish attacker instantly became a regular for the Italian outfit following his 2020 move from Nordsjaelland, and he chipped in with two goals and four assists from 35 league outings.
The 20-year-old starlet winger earned himself a place in Denmark’s Euro 2020 squad following his sensational season at Sampdoria.
He has previously been linked with a move to Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur, but according to Sport, the Catalan giants are showing a firm interest in his services.
The Spanish outfit may have to battle Juventus for the winger’s signature.
Damsgaard has a deal at Sampdoria until the end of the 2023-24 season.
