Tottenham Hotspur eyeing move for Brennan Johnson

Nottingham Forest attacker Brennan Johnson has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur.

Football Insider reports that Spurs are keeping an eye on the 21-year-old attacker, who has contributed ten goals and two assists in 34 games across all competitions, with ten of those goals coming in the Premier League.

The North Londoners are interested in recruiting the Welshman for the upcoming season, as he has caught the attention of the club’s senior scouts, who were present during Nottingham Forest’s 1-1 draw with Wolves in the Premier League on Saturday.

The youngster has made a name for himself by becoming an important member of the Nottingham Forest first team, and has made a strong impression in his first season in the Premier League.

Johnson’s contributions have been instrumental in helping Nottingham Forest remain outside of the relegation zone, as they are currently ranked 14th in the league with 27 points from 28 games.

Several clubs have taken notice of the impressive performances of Brennan Johnson, including Tottenham Hotspur, who believes that signing Johnson could alleviate any future concerns and improve their squad depth as they strive to end their trophy drought.
